Location: Riegersburg, Südoststeiermark, Styria, Austria
You can park the car at the foot of Riegersburg. The entrance to the castle is only a short walk away. To get through the Leopold via ferrata, you have to pay the entrance to the main entrance. You can hardly miss the entry of the via ferrata (keep left after the entrance).
The via ferrata is in principle a longer crossing of the southwest wall of the Riegersburg in medium difficulty C. You can extend the Leopold via ferrata over a difficult plate crossing (D). This is optional! The via ferrata ends directly in the castle tavern of Riegersburg.

The Leopold via ferrata is the first section (C). You can then directly do the round of the Heinrich via ferrata (C/D) or get out over the wall to the Burgschänke. There is not a small extra lap (D/E) for those who are indefatigable. All this with unique panoramas from the wall under the castle.

The comments of Stefan is actually nothing more to add, only so much: I liked very much, the Aussichtsbankerl in the wall, the beautiful panorama.
You feel like an eagle in its nest, which, by the way, circles over the castle in a favorable wind.
I can highly recommend the small climbing route, which was created with much love, especially since it ends directly in the tavern's garden.
