Horst "Robber's House". Hill on the outskirts of Verden. From here, the old trade route leading to Bremen was very visible. Freight wagons from Bremen's merchants were often attacked here. The robbers may have lived in the old little house that once stood there, and later the town musicians would also have lived there. Bremen merchants erected the monument to the town musicians in Bremen at the town hall out of gratitude because the four chased the robbers away on an old trade route.
