Everyone in Marburg knows them, the forest oak on the Lahnberge near Sonnenblick. Today it is unfortunately only a ruin, burned out a few years ago by two boys setting fire to it.
The series of pictures shows how beautiful it once was, powerful and dominant at its location. The pictures were taken in all four seasons in 1988/89, always from the same location.
