The Malpensa park, or Brugheria di Via Gaggio, might appear to be a simple wood furrowed by asphalt roads worn by time, but instead it is an open-air museum.
La Brughiera is a very wide path in the woods where you can stroll peacefully with strollers or by bicycle among "historic corners" with remains of the Second World War, such as bombs and tools of peasant life, and portions of take-off and landing runways where the planes in 1944 they left and returned from war missions
In addition, there are also the remains of the walls of the old national road x Milan
The view of Ticino and its canals is also suggestive
The area is owned by the Italian State, which expropriated it in the twentieth century to use it as a military polygon, then in fact abandoned, and today it is perhaps the largest heath remained intact in Lombardy. It is part of the Lombard Park of the Ticino Valley and has been proposed as a Site of Community Importance (SIC) to protect endemic species
