On the edge of a valley, at the entrance, you'll discover the Tower O'Ess. This lovely gatehouse conversion is situated by the River Tanar, surrounded by tall Scots Pine trees.

The Tower O'Ess was created by Sir William Cunliffe Brooks and architect George Truefitt from 1871 to 1873. Initially, it served as a grand entrance to the glen. Later in 1918, Lord Glentanar, Thomas Coats, transformed it into a working gatehouse.

    It's now a luxury self-catering property for 2 people.
