The butterfly is a sight from the north shore of the Störmthal lake. It is easy to see from the Störmthal viewpoints and from the VINETA. It can be reached by bike and hiking trails.
Bounded by the upper and lower circular route, the butterfly lies on the south-facing slope with its wings spread out. The sensor, head and body serve as a path connection. The wings are planted areas of wood, ground cover, perennials and flower bulbs. They appear through the arrangement of different plants in a changeable color image and continuously create a new one over the course of the year.
