The Grade I-listed Church of St Nicholas is situated in pleasant farmland on the outskirts of Sydling St Nicholas village. The church was built in the 15th century — using local rubble and flint and local Ham Hill stone for the dressing — and was extended throughout the 16th century. Inside, there is a 12th-century font and artefacts from subsequent centuries.
