Hiking Highlight
The cave lies at the foot of a rock face and is a natural monument. In winter a few bats live here. Armed with a helmet and a flashlight, you can go a little way into the narrow cave. Nothing for people with claustrophobia!

You can go into the cave, but it is too tight for me. Helmet and lamps should be included.

The Siebentälerhöhle directly on the way through Katzenbach makes you curious about a tour of discovery. Armed with lamps, one is amazed at the spacious hall that follows after the rather narrow entrance. But it goes on. More than a hundred yards along a narrow crack. Mud and absolute darkness accompany the daring, who makes it to the top of the fall, does not want to imagine what could happen if the large stone blocks shift here.
You return happy and enriched with an adventure. Even in the dark, the bright day outside heralds itself with warmth, greets the cave travelers in a friendly way with the life-giving light that is missing in the cave and gives the whole company more excitement.

Definitely fun for both adults and children. With a headlamp you can get into the cave for about 10-15 minutes before you can't go any further. To get dirty in the dark, definitely fun for young and old.

The cave is open from April 15th to November 15th, closed outside of the time to protect the bats. Very interesting

That's interesting with a lamp - you just have to be slim and flexible. You can only stand if you are very short (small) ;-)
November 21, 2021
Access to the Seven Valleys Cave is blocked by an iron grate. It is used by bats as a place to sleep and overwinter.
April 9, 2022

The Sieben-Täler-Höhle is the largest cave in the Tübingen district and is located on the Früchtetrauf premium trail "Sieben-Täler-Runde". The entrance is very narrow, but after a few meters you can stand a little more upright and the cave is then fortified for visitors. But be careful! You can easily overlook the small entry along the way.

The demolition is impressive at the edge of the "Seven Valleys Round" of the Früchtrauf trails. The Seven Valleys Cave, on the other hand, can easily be overlooked. Although it is the largest cave in the district, the entrance is very narrow.

The cave is closed in winter from November 15th to April 15th
