There is not much left to see of the site. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful place. Friendly people have set up tree trunks on the small bridge as a place to sit, as there is unfortunately no bench. The mining trail is provided with many small information boards.

Very nice is the way from the pit Glasebach. Already at the mine you will find a stamp of the Harzer hiking pin (175), if you have reached this just follow the signs to Hellergrund. If you have reached the Hellergrund (194 of the HWN), the best way is to take the way back via the mining trail past Batkes Wiese.
