Hiking

For the descent to the north, I strongly recommend using poles. In wet conditions (e.g., rain the day before), I advise against it altogether. In such cases, I recommend climbing as the only option. It's extremely steep from about 200-300 meters after or before the summit, and the path runs partially over pure grass or mud/earth. Slipping here is truly life-threatening. Anyone who has climbed above the ridge and already had problems there should not attempt the descent to the north.
