In 1976, a hurricane uprooted numerous trees on the steep western slope of Eisenberg. This created a natural open space, which has since been used by hang-gliders as a starting point. If the wind is good, you can watch the daring paragliders take off here. But even if you do not want to fly yourself, only the view into the valley is worth a visit.
