Although the Neue Heilbronner Hütte is located at an altitude of 2,320 meters, it can still be reached within two and a half hours on an easy hiking trail from the parking lot at Zeinisjoch. This is a great advantage, especially for families with children. Those who want to stay overnight can choose from one of nine rooms with a total of 40 beds.

Good food is served early in the morning, including many regional specialties. The Montafoner Marend (a traditional snack) with boiled potatoes, bacon, and local cheese is particularly delicious.
