The 440 meter long Tulln Danube Bridge was constructed from a double-track railway structure and a downstream structure for a two-lane road and footpath. Each of the supporting structures was constructed from lattice girders. They share the bridge piers and the abutments.Due to the proximity to the center of Tulln, the new bridge structure was equipped with noise protection walls and a slab track. The tracks were cast in a cork-bitumen granulate.
