Its origin dates back to the fifteenth century, although its original building has been modified and reformed several times over the years. It highlights its monumental bell tower from the 17th century that came to replace an earlier tower. It consists of three original vestibules and in 1878 the church was rebuilt by the architect Don Justino Flórez Llamas. In one of its lateral walls we can see numerous coats of arms belonging to the houses that ruled over the region at the time.
