To the north-east of Eschlhof it takes on the Eschlbach coming from the right. The Bavarian Schwarzach flows smoothly in a south-easterly direction through the swampy meadow and unites north of Kritzenast with the Bohemian Schwarzach to form the Schwarzach.

The Bavarian Schwarzach has its source at the Goldbrunnen near Waldhäuser. At the old ski lift building, turn right into the forest and after approx. 1 km turn right at the signpost and follow the hiking trail for a short distance. Interesting!
