The Schwarzach, a partly undeveloped river, meanders from Waldmünchen via Rötz and Neunburg through a wide valley and flows into the Naab near Schwarzenfeld. After its Bavarian arm has fed the Silbersee and its Bohemian arm the Perlsee, the Schwarzach unites at Kritzenast to form a remarkable fishing waters. This provides habitat for pike, zander, trout, burbot, carp, tench, chub, perch, eel and many other species of white fish. Anglers will find excellent conditions in the Schwarzach, which can be fished all year round.
