The current St. Andreas Church was built in 1811 to replace its dilapidated predecessor as a fieldstone building in the classical style and was rebuilt two years later after a fire in 1874. During the church renovation in 1958, the wooden altar wall and the gallery were removed. The chancel was given a new, more modern look with a round stained glass window by the artist Claus Wallner, which shows Christ as Lord of the world, and a sandstone altar table, although the eastern entrance was bricked up. The separate bell tower was built in 1967. In 2004, the chancel was redesigned again by building a blue-painted altar wall that includes the round window.
