The Hafenlohrtal is a nature reserve in the Spessart. The valley begins at the feet of Weibersbrunn and ends in Windheim. It impresses with its typical landscape and its isolation from traffic and hustle and bustle. A real gem for racing cyclists. A few years ago, the Hafenlohr river was supposed to be converted into a reservoir. Fortunately, thanks to some nature conservation associations and citizens' initiatives, this was prevented.
