Wild stories about the Risitobel witches can be read in Stäfa's books from the end of the last century. But they weren't seen again for a long time. On Carnival in 1989, the witches descended from the Risitobel forest in Stäfa back to the village. From this day onwards they are causing mischief here and in the wider area.
