Best Hiking Routes to Salvesen Gorge

Tips

  • It's impressive how the Salvesenbach rushes 40 meters below the high transition and eats its way into the gorge millimeter by millimeter.

  • The Salvesenklamm is perfect for a family outing and remains through the children's educational trail, the Sculpture Trail and the Gugelhupfplatz consistently exciting. Further up, the well-secured passage leads over a steel bridge to the observation deck, from where you have a magnificent view of the nearby and distant surrounding mountains.

  • The High Crossing is a bridge that connects the trail around the Salvesenklamm. It is stable, well secured and offers a great view, both on the Salvesenbach, as well as on the mountains. A few meters up there is a viewing platform with a bench and an information board. There, too, you can enjoy the view and make a pause if necessary. The way there is still quite well secured with a steep and narrow stairs.High transition recommended!
