Hiking Highlight (Segment)
A family-friendly hike of about 35 minutes lasting 200 meters in altitude. Two falls fall into the gorge, the 10-meter high Torbachfall and the 70 -meter-high Schleierfall.
The water level of the Silberkarbachs is unstable, because it is fed not only from rain and melt water, but also underground through the Silberkarsee.
The Silberkarhütte lies at the end of the gorge, is an ideal point for a snack with a beautiful view and starting point for further hikes.

The entrance to the Silberkarklamm is 3,50 €. An early arrival is to be recommended as otherwise there may be a lack of parking. In the gorge are the 3 via ferrata, Hias, Siega and Rosina. Here, the via ferrata Rosina is the most difficult to classify because there is no possibility to rest. Here you climb up about 140 vertical meters on the rock face.

The Silberkarklamm impresses with the roaring water and the wide Kar opening afterwards. The Silberkar Round is an ideal hiking trail for the whole family. Walk to the entrance to the gorge, then the path leads varied over steps and stairs along falling water and steeply rising rock walls through the gorge. After the beautiful, if challenging, path opens up an impressive, free Kar. From here you can reach the Silberkarhütte in about 20 minutes. The trail can alternatively be taken as the return route and leads in the forest as a root trail back to the starting point.schladming-dachstein.at/de/service/infos-a-z/silberkarklamm_az353488
