Root carpets for practice! Part of the route is covered with roots. However, almost all of them run horizontally to the path and are therefore easy to ride over. When dry, it's very relaxing and when wet, there are NO really nasty things waiting for the biker. A studded profile makes sense here, but we've also ridden up with bikers with "smooth" tire profiles. But it's not as much fun.
