Schönegg (1781m) is always worth a visit - no matter which way you approach it: if the weather is good: dreamlike scenery over vast Alpine ranges, deep in the valley (it goes steeply downhill) Bolzano and Merano. The ascent is never too difficult, but you do have to overcome a few meters in altitude.
