Morfa Madryn is a nature reserve home to hundreds of bird species, including wildfowl and waders. The reserve adjoins the Traeth Lafan mudflats, which are considered an area of European importance thanks to their diverse wildlife.

There's a couple of benches where you can stop for a picnic and three bird hides where you can watch oystercatchers and other birds up-close.
