The Giant Slide Trail runs up a glacial valley strewn with boulders alongside Sargent Brook. This trail pairs well with Sargent Mountain and Gilmore Peak, and makes a great getaway as it is relatively untraveled by park visitors. The trail involves some rock scrambling and many stepping stone river crossings. Keep an eye out for unique fungi!
