In 1904, the idea for a lookout tower on the Kindelsberg was first raised. The tower was to be 23 meters high and built from quarry stone masonry instead of iron or wood. The foundation stone was laid in 1905. Construction took two years. In the tower there is a stone spiral staircase that leads to a viewing platform. From there you can enjoy a wonderful view. Since then, the Kindelsberg has been a popular hiking destination.
