Buchklingen Trail

Trail in Birkenau has two parts. First part for advanced students. Second part for experts.

The Buchklingentrail is officially part of the Go1 Gorxheimertal of the Geo-Naturpark Bergstrasse Odenwald. Please note sporadic barriers! Forestry work and trail construction work are taking place behind it. The usual trail rules of the IMBA, DIMB and especially the Geopark apply. Night rides are illegal! Helmets are compulsory, protectors are mandatory. Sections 2-4 correspond to single trail scale S2. Good riding technique is required for challenging terrain.
The free right of access also allows other forest users to enter the trails. Mutual consideration. You can support us, the Mümlingtal cyclists, with a membership or donation. This costs a set of brake pads per year, i.e. €20. You are then a member of the builders and maintainers of the legendary MI1 Michelstadt, and the ERB1 Erbach, whose Bergstrasse members are responsible for the legalization and maintenance of the trail.
