The Glashütte meadows are a wonderful clearing in the forest near the Simmerkopf / Schanzerkopf. Here you have two possible paths, a trail and a forest path. There are various information boards about the vegetation.
I haven't seen any benches, if I remember correctly.

        Glashütte meadows
The Glashütter Wiesen nature reserve is located in the Bad Kreuznach district and in the Rhein-Hunsrück district in Rhineland-Palatinate.
The approximately 45 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1984, extends southeast of the local community of Argenthal. State road L 239 runs along the eastern edge of the area through which the Graefenbach flows.
The protection purpose is the preservation of the wetland as a habitat of rare wild plants and plant communities that are threatened in their existence.

        History:
The Glashütte Meadows were created in 1672 and 1673, when 565 acres of forest were cleared for the establishment of a zoo.
