For persevering hikers a tour with wonderful views to the north: Starnbergersee, Staffelsee, Kochelsee, south of the Walchensee, the entire Alpine chain from the Wilder Kaiser, the striking Guffert, the Achensee region over Karwendel and Zugspitze, the Tannheimer mountains .... great. And in the huts at the Herzogstand and the Heimgarten eat and drink amidst the great surroundings .... great! The path between Heimgarten and Herzogstand is exposed and requires some head for heights.
