View from Michaelsberg

The Michaelsberg with its chapel is very distinctive and can be seen from afar. From the center of Untergrombach you have to tackle approx. 140 vertical meters with an average gradient of 5% to the summit. The effort is rewarded with a wonderful view over the Rhine valley to the Palatinate mountains. Park benches and meadows in idyllic surroundings invite you to take a long break. A very popular destination for cyclists and hikers.

Short, crisp climb - above you will be rewarded with a magnificent view to the Rhine and the Vosges. From Karlsruhe to Bruchsal the view extends, benches invite you to linger or you can flag on the meadow. There is a restaurant next to the chapel. Gorgeous!
