Gleinalm Shelter

Five times a year you can officially ride your bike to Gleinalmkircherl Maria Schnee and Gleinalmschutzhaus at 1585m. From Knittelfeld about 1000m. A mountain mass will take place here at 10.30 a.m. on these days. The days are the same every year:

The Gleinalmschutzhaus is located on the Gleinalmsattel in the middle of mountains. You can also spend the night at the Gleinalm refuge to start a hike or something else the next morning.
Cycling is not allowed to this shelter, but there is a mountain mass five times a year in the adjacent Gleinalm church, where you can and may ride to the shelter. This is also used by many who like to ride a bike.
The service is fast and friendly, the food is delicious and you can enjoy your time spent up here.
