Nice short Hike when you have time constraints. Walk up Stan Helms. Rest a bit at the Octagon on the Summit. The Summit Rd at the top is closed to auto traffic. Then hike back to Lyttleton down The Bridle Path. You also have an option to hike down to the other side to Hallswell which is a suburb of Christchurch.
