The Robert-Gernhardt Bridge 34 is located on the Nidda Riverside Cycle Path, in the immediate vicinity of the adjacent "Old Bonames Airport," which crosses the river here. On the bridge railing is the green armadillo (an advertising image for the municipal nature reserve, landscape conservation, and local recreation area) by Robert Gernhardt. Robert Gernhardt (1937–2006) was a German writer, poet, essayist, illustrator, and painter. He became known, among other things, for his satirical magazine Titanic.
