Neudenstein Castle (Slovenian: Črni Grad) is located on a forested rocky hill on the banks of the Völkermarkter Reservoir and is also known as the “Black Castle” because of its dark walls. Parts of the castle date from the 14th century and it was rebuilt and expanded several times.
