Suspension Bridge Over the Wertach River

If you have no problem walking over a wobbly suspension bridge, it can also be crossed by bike. However, a lot of muscle power has to be used when pushing up towards Görisried.
We went over with the e-bike and luggage. Luggage carried up extra and then the e-bikes pushed up. Thanks to the pushing aid, things went relatively well.
I would not recommend the crossing by bike from Görisried in the direction of Kaltenbrun because the descent to Wertach is too steep. Be as fit as a gym shoe and have a light bike.

So I did it the other way around with an e-bike… no problem!👍

The detour here is worth it, although crossing the suspension bridge and the subsequent path is not possible with an e-bike. It's a shame that the author of the tour didn't make this clear and, above all, that no alternative to the tour is indicated!! We had to find our way around and ask around a lot until we were back on the tour... .
