In 1862 the building was given a neo-Gothic touch by installing new windows. A special feature is the carved altar, also from the 15th century, which probably comes from Wittenberg.
The old gravestones on the outer wall are also worth seeing. The richly decorated plate of the paper maker from the Schlalacher water mill is striking.
