I too fear that the last Methuselah will soon die. You can still see and sometimes guess what mighty trees they were. They even survived military use, but the exploitation of nature (lignite) in recent years has been too serious. The remaining (young) oaks look good and such an oak forest is a very special impression. Especially in Brandenburg.
