We invite you to visit the 800-year-old cultural monument Gut Basthorst and leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind you. Gut Basthorst has traditional agriculture and forestry in addition to modern, former stables and the manor house for weddings, company parties, conferences, Trade fairs, concerts and markets.
Our atmospheric, traditional spring, autumn and Christmas markets in particular attract many thousands of visitors every year.
In addition, you can enjoy fresh, regional dishes all year round in our own restaurant in the horse stable and the rose garden behind it and end the evening in one of the individually furnished hotel rooms on the farm or in one of the holiday apartments.The estate with its over 30 buildings has meanwhile also become home to several medium-sized companies and dealers as well as a distillery, a gunsmith's shop, an antique dealer, a Swedish whiskey barrel warehouse and a restoration workshop. Your exclusive, often handcrafted goods are manufactured and sold here on site. Whatever occasion brings you to us, we look forward to your visit!
