Wikipedia: The Quackenschloss is a through cave about 18 meters long. It is the remainder of a very old and high-altitude cave system. The rock face has a patchy appearance due to the weathering of individual shells. The cave probably got its name from this type of rock. The perforated stone type (Rauchwacke) is called here quacke.
The oblique oval shape of the cave is determined by two longitudinal fissures and two sloping bank joints. Two larger gaps cross the aisle.
