Tips
The Hohe Wäldchen forest is 378 meters high. In good weather, you can enjoy the best views of the Siebengebirge and Westerwald Mountains from here.The area was used for military purposes until the end of the 1980s (as an air defense radar station) and has been a nature reserve for several years. The traces of that time are still clearly visible, but the buildings have been demolished, and nature has reclaimed some of its original territory.
