In addition to harbor ferries, container ships and excursion boats, there is another vehicle in the Port of Hamburg that offers a completely new type of sightseeing tour: the HafenCity RiverBus. An amphibious vehicle that combines a city tour with a river tour.
It's very impressive to watch the bus just enter the water and swim away - must see!
It's been on the road since April 16, 2016, on land and water, and it's sure to draw incredulous looks in the port time and time again: the HafenCity RiverBus.
Since the christening on April 15, 2016 - befitting Hamburg's bad weather - there have been "city cruises" several times a day.

The Elbpark Entenwerder was opened in 1990 and is a peninsula south of the Rothenburgsort district. It used to serve as a customs island for inland navigation vessels.
In 2017, the park became known through clashes over a protest camp against the G-20 summit. The organizers broke off the camp after they no longer wanted to be "harassed by the police and justice".
The recommendable Café Entenwerder 1 is located on the pontoon in the Elbe. The view of the river and city nature is very beautiful.

Especially nice are the seats on the first floor of the pavilion!
