On pilgrimage days, a kiosk or the pilgrimage is alternately open from May to November.

Perfect place to relax, the climb is quite steep, but as a reward, there is a beautiful view of winds.

Steep driveway which is rewarded with fantastic views.
Upstairs there is a kiosk which if luck is open.

From here it is worth waiting for the sunset, it is wonderful to watch.

The chapel on the summit of the Hörnleberges is idyllically surrounded by a panorama of the Black Forest and offers a calming atmosphere after the steep climb while you relax.

There are many very beautiful viewpoints in the Black Forest. The Hörnleberg is without a doubt one of them! From the Hornisgrinde over the Brandenkopf to the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges above the Rhine Valley. In the east you can still see the Braunhörnle and Tafelbühl as well as the Gschasi. Unfortunately the pilgrimage chapel "Our Lady of the Hörnleberg" is closed and cannot be visited. The pilgrim restaurant is also closed, opening times may be searched on the Internet. Nevertheless, there are some benches and tables for a snack that you have earned after the ascent, including a great view.

Beautiful excursion destination with a partially demanding slope. Thanks to the diverse possibilities to hike up and down, you are mostly alone on the way. On the summit you can find everything from young to old, from pilgrims, hikers to bikers and you can relax from the ascent.

Views, refreshments and a pretty church make the Hörnleberg a peak experience.

Whenever there is a chapel enthroned on a hilltop, the journey there is worthwhile. Not (just) because of the sacred building, but because of the peace and quiet that usually prevails there and the pretty view. On the Hörnleberg, the attraction is further increased by a kiosk. Always nice when you can dry the sweat of the ascent with something cool.

Don't forget the camera, it's worth it.
