In 1361, according to a document from Bishop Friedrich von Chiemsee, a “new”, probably Gothic church was consecrated because the “old” Romanesque church had become too small. From this Gothic church only the portal at the Feldwebel inn and a Madonna at the Unterfaisten are preserved. Today's rococo church was built by local artists between 1765 and 1768. While a number of large houses have been built in the village in the recent past, the parish church still surpasses them in size and beauty. You can find more information at:
