The path is very muddy in spring and very difficult to walk from bottom to top.

If it rained a few days before, this route is not recommended as it is very muddy and slippery. And there is a lot going on here on public holidays / Sundays. Better take the path towards the sports home if you want to go to / from the war memorial. The path is very pleasant to walk. And you pass a beer station (which is usually open on public holidays / Sundays).
