A watermill building on the Werse from the middle / end of the 17th century. Belongs to House Seppenhagen.

At the beginning of the 20th century a long extension was built for a new grinding plant and a new turbine.
The construction of a lucrative grain and oil mill followed from the right to dam the Werse, which the Seppenhagen manor owned. The mill ban forced all surrounding residents to have their grain ground here. Milling operations ceased in the 1960s.

The Werseradweg Beckum-Drensteinfurt leads directly past this very beautiful mill and invites you to take a break there. A great place to sit is opposite the mill and you could buy tomatoes there today in the sales cabinet. Very idyllic and a great photo opportunity.
