Impressive church in the village of Trechwitz. It was built by architect and master builder Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff.

Today's Trechwitz Church was built in 1750 on the remains of the former church from 1408. The builder was Ludolf Ehrenreich von Rochow, who at the time bet he would build the "thickest village church". In 1751, one year after completion, he died and was buried in the crypt under the altar.
