The ponds behind the Herrnstein Castle are the real blasts of my tour. I stopped there on a rock at a dam between two ponds. Pure idyll on both sides - green overgrown ponds, swans, ducks, frogs and every now and then a fish leaps out of the water in exuberance. Except for me, not a single soul there, unfortunately you can only hear something from the street, otherwise it would be perfect.
