Visual Arts Museum, est. 1983 on a wide beach, easily missed from the highway above. Along with the preservation of the work of the sculptor Costas Polychronopoulos (1931-1975), the goal of the Skyron Museum is to highlight innovative aesthetic ideas and creative trends that contribute to aesthetic and environmental awareness. It emphasizes the support of Greek and foreign artists involved in sculpture, installations, interactive performance and engraving. From 1976 until today, the Skyroneio Museum of Polychronopoulos has hosted works by renowned artists such as Nikolaos Vlavianos, Vlassis Kaniaris, George Zongolopoulos, Tetsuo Harada, Mauro Staccioli, Jo Pomodoro, etc. At the same time, he has developed an interesting collection of works by Greek and foreign artists, supporting and promoting dozens of creators, such as: Nikos Alexiou, Vito Acconci, George Apostu, Michalis Arfaras, Eugenio Barbieri, Lydia Venieris, Dimitrios Zeissis, Dimitris Zeissis , Manthos Santorinios, Kostis Triantafyllou, Nautical Pastras, etc. Skirionio continued to support younger artists and performers such as: Abdoulazim Azarkheil, Andreas Lolis, Sia Kyriakakos, Haris Kontosfyris, Maria Karathanou, Katerina Barabouti, Cezar Harada, Alexis Psychouliou, Armeis Pouhoulis, Areti skironio.gr
