A tiny but unusually picturesque church of Saint George. Opened only once a week, on Sunday at 12:00. After the mass you can always talk to a very nice parish priest here.A picturesque small beauty: St. George church in Podlasie. Many Thanks ;)
I rarely do HDR. Recently some time ago in Eckernförde, where I was allowed to photograph the new class 212 A submarines. It was quite late in the evening, but for a long time exposure they wobbled too much on the water and so I decided to combine a few different aperture / shutter speed configurations.
At komoot, I try not to show cell phone photos, because they are simply incomparable to what I do with the camera in the same place. In the case of the local church photos, the first one was still taken with the mobile phone and I edited one of them (more contrast, so that it gets closer to the other pictures). Latch and the back were made in the light of the setting sun. The interior shots are long exposures, while the post-outside view has been slightly reworked. This church is mostly too; When I shot the photos, the cleaning lady who was just about to bring flowers to the church went through the gate (in the background). I retouched her, well, gone. Her colorful clothes, a bit cheesy, would have taken the composition pretty apart from me;)
Otherwise, I do not try to retouch. My brother is a pretty good photographer in Dusseldorf, and always pushes me in the direction of working with the light, so manually adjust the settings. Sometimes I send him some sms at midnight because "I can not get the stars" :)) But basically it's because I'm working with a Nikon only recently. It used to be a Canon. With the digital cameras, I have the feeling that the Nikon perceives the light slightly differently than the Canon - so I get his help.
What I do quite often, is to "just make the picture". Every now and then the horizontal posture of the camera is not quite perfect and then it does not look very good.
I hope I could answer your questions reasonably well.
