The Holy Cross Chapel is located on an artificial hill on the western edge of the Egglkofen Castle Park. The sculptor August Weckbecker, professor at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, built the single-nave chapel building with semicircular choir conche in 1916/1917 in the style of late historicism above the more or less one-storey family crypt.
