Gravenstein is best known for its magnificent castle, which serves as the summer residence of the royal family of Denmark. Although the Gråsten Castle is not accessible for sightseeing, in the park of the castle you can truly feel regal. It is one of the most beautiful parks in northern Europe and is open to the public from April to October, as is the chapel of the royal family. In the summer you should also not miss the daily changing of the guard at 12 o'clock.
